    Default Multi-core manager

Anyone heard or used this one yet? Kind of curious if it can really boost performance for FSX. I mean for $14, it doesn't seem to bad, I can think of other things I've wasted that kind of money on.

Never heard of it Jeremy. If you decide to purchase it make sure you leave a review on it.

    Save your $14!

A friend of mine bought it for the same reason and it is nothing a free version of the same type of software will do. All it does is allow you to allocate a core of your processor (Affinity) to your utilities that you run with FS. So if you run things like ActiveSky or other utilities you can set them to each use different core of your CPU. It does not make any difference to FSX or FS9 as FSX is already multicore aware and FS9 is not so will only ever run on 1 core.

    Jim,
Thanks for the great feedback on that. That's what I was thinking after really reading the description of it. I guess I can take that $14 and spend it else where, (new scenery perhaps). Once again, thanks for the feedback on that.

You're welcome. It seems a lot of people buy that program as they think it'll boost their FPS but then get disappointed when they see basically the same results.
